SYNOPSIS:
After a series of attacks upon unrelated victims led to the same description of the attacker - a young perpetrator with a golden baseball bat and in-line skates - the police had to wonder, is the "Lil Slugger" real or some kind of sinister phantom.

『妄想代理人』（もうそうだいりにん）は、マッドハウス製作の今敏監督によるアニメ作品。

全13話構成で2004年2月 2日からWOWOWにてスクランブル放送された。今敏監督の初めてのテレビアニメである。

@Adultguj When the characters are attacked by Lil' Slugger (antagonist) they feel a sense of relief. Take for example Yūichi Taira, the narcissistic popular boy at the elementary school; he shares similarities with Slugger in that he wears golden skates, has a golden bat, has a red baseball cap, and always has his trademark grin. He becomes ostracized by his fellow classmates and is considered a suspect. After he is attacked though, he finds relief as a victim, and not as a Slugger suspect.

I find the most harrowing scene to be when we come to the Inspector standing atop Tokyo Tower with a nuclear explosion in the background...
