  • @ProTuner06 That is still the argument today; because in Military terms, Britain won. Less casulties, less ammunition fired, more land gained (Canada) and we had to fight against some 6 other Nations in this war and we had the least amount of men. But in political terms we lost as Parliament no longer gouverned the Colonies. I presume you are American but I may be mistaken. Anyway I hope I am not starting an argument.

  • i think i saw mel gibson

  • it's weird..my mom lives in Camden,sc. and it seems to be a ''city'' that is stuck in the past. It's time Camden gets with the real world and starts to bring in industry and jobs that way there might not be so many negro's farting around 24/7.

  • @BritainF0rever Yet the brits still lost the war.

  • @BritainF0rever yet......lost the war.

  • HA...I was in this reenactment

  • The British comprised 1,500 hundred regulars and 500 militia. The American army comprised 1,500 Continental troops and some 1,500 militia.

    Winner: The British

Generals: Major General Lord Cornwallis against Major General Horatio Gates

Casualties: The British lost 324 killed and wounded, 100 being from the 33rd. The American casualties were 1,000 killed and wounded and 1,000 lost as prisoners.

Follow-up: The battle ensured the British hold on South Carolina

  • To bad for them that Britain won, ey?

  • I am a re-enactor, and I was here during this. My ancestor's fought here, and my son was in the battle. Thank you for sharing this! Sure makes me proud to be an American, and walk where my ancestor's did! God Bless!
