The JenaWalker II bipedal robot was designed and built at the University of Jena, in collaboration with Tetra Ilmenau. Here, it is shown toe walking. At the end of the video the gastrocnemius cable fails because of the higher loading at high speed. More information at www.lauflabor.de and www.cim.mcgill.ca/~jasmith.
Very nice.
