@greasegun49 Very well said my friend. This is a slice of music at it's absolute best and as it turns out, Mr. Knopfler holds the majority of ownership in the remainder of that musical pie. His music brings to mind someone I hold very dear to my heart and consider one of life's blessings. Sometimes those are hard to see. What a wonderful gift this music has given me.

@Kdees Mark seems to be held to no genre. He can play anything, any kind, and any way to perfection. Pop was a phase he did; done them all, didn't he? What perfection! He is not just easily the best writer and musician in the world, he has raised a standard for all who follow to aspire to. So, yes, you are spot on. The man is the best musician alive. Keep listening please...I don't think he's quite finished yet. Peace...

MK is an endless fountain of creativity, some of which is sheer genius...Get Lucky is the best album since Golden Heart, and the best collection since Night in London.....marvelous incredible musician.
