The Warriors: Anime Style

Just thought I'd take an amv approach to 'The Warriors' after seeing it for a tenth time. And stuck as much gang like anime's in thier I knew about. Enjoy!

i'd love to see an anime that homages and parodies this film.. the homage version is primarily action plus martial arts while the parody version is more on comedy

@misterpogi99 i think young GTO will be as close to The Warriors as anime will ever get......either way I don't see that many black ppl in anime

@another131 maybe an anime featuring different factions/gangs.. at least 5-10 factions including the main protagonist's could be an homage to the warriors..

@another131 or based on swan regardless of genre... then the character based on ajax is a tough brawler and a womanizer for the action version while the comedy version depicts that character as a version of johnny bravo wherein as a recurring gag, he gets beaten up by either the girl or the girl's boyfriend.. then the leader, regardless of ethnicity is based on cleon..

@misterpogi99 oh man thats pretty detailed......i can kind of see all this in a cromartie high kind of setting for comedy but for serious action i'd imagine battle royal minus the immense nudity and preachy feel of it

@another131 for the comedy version, the main characters themselves are not gangsters or delinquents, though regardless of whether it is action or comedy, the main characters dress up like the gangs from the warriors. and speaking of comedy, it may be similar to cromartie high..

@another131 well. at least the attires will do.. all the groups are dressed up similar to the gangs in the warriors.

@GameGhost1 i personally haven't seen many remakes i like, and i doubt re-making a low budget cult movie like The Warriors in to a current day block buster isn't going to be any good

and for the anime's i used: Hajime no ippo, Gantz, Yu Yu Hakusho, Jing King of Bandits, Desert Punk, Great Teacher Onizuka, Samurai Champloo, Cow boy bepop, and Akira (ironically also being re-made)
