Used to love this song as a kid. I can hear that it's a sly Kinks' Village Green Preservation Society era rip off now. But I still love it!

@stoprejectingmynames You're not crazy. It also reminds me Syd Barrett. It's very likely Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding were influenced by the founder of Pink Floyd!

I use this as an anti-eminent domain theme song in presentations. NYC Landmarks Preservation commission laughed, but it worked once.
