And they can't exactly just change everything as time passes; they need to stick with the weapons they introduced. But, yes, i REALLY hope we'll have some serious firepower and armor by 2552.  Or none at all, if we actually learn to stop shooting each other by then.

I Doubt military equipment,weapons and solider armor will be that pathetic in 500 years like it is in the halo series,the UNSC marine armor looks very similar to the new military soldier of the future amor,that all soliders will be using starting 2025.
