it's not about the value of the money, it's about where the money is spent. the idea here is not to make a currency that has a higher value, that's not possible, but to limit the number of people who can benefit from it's usage. it's basically a way of making sure people buy locally, if they can't spend there money in co-op or sainsburys, then they'll have to go to a local shop. btw there's no scam here, you can exchange bristol pounds for sterling free AND you can use it to pay your taxes

Interest rates are controlled by central banks as they decide at what interest rate to loan the money they print to other banks. The source of that inflation is the money central banks print.

If bitcoin is not a money then what is the definition of money you are using? I define money as "Money is any object or record that is generally accepted as payment for goods and services and repayment of debts", since you can buy and sell things in bitcoin I recognize it as a money.

BTW, the cause of inflation is interest.

In simple speak, bristol can print as much bristol pounds as they like, they are obliged to exchange bristol pounds for Great Britain pounds. So, bristol prints bristol pounds, exchanges them for GBP and bristol taxpayer pays for it. Brilliant little scam, and no one is the wiser because people go to sleep when they hear talk about currency, don't believe me? Ask people what the cause of inflation is.

    Should have used bitcoin.
