When Google Plus introduced their real name policy, many said it was an attack on privacy. The public outcry forced them to enact a grace period, giving users more time to switch over their accounts to coordinate with their real identity. Comedian Brick Stone has found some good in Google's real name policy.
No way I'm giving my real name so people who don't like my videos..or like them a little to much 8 P ,can track me down. Started this channel today & went to open a Google+ to go with it to help promote it, that was before I read their policy. Not only did they want it on + also said it would put it on all G accounts & apps don't know if that includes YouTube, doesn't matter I +1 a video my name is associated with my YouTube name. Just a hop skip & a jump to my violated corpse from there 8 P

Youtube put a couple of false copywrite content match warnings on my videos and when I went to dispute, the form asks for your full name. Possible fishing scam by Youtube/Google?

Staking tool for sure. If you have ever been a victim of rape or have issues with people out to do you harm. Google would be a bad place for you to be. Your photo and your real name makes you extremely vulnerable and you can't even block them from following you. Just so you know.
