Paul Gilbert 3 notes per string shred exercise from Intense rock 1

Been working on this for about 2 weeks now! I know its not amazingly fast but we've all got to start somewhere right! I'm using my new Ibanez RG550XX 20th Anniversary guitar courtesy of Dazza1004 on the Jemboards.

I'm going straight into the GH100L with no affects what so ever, the pickups are stock and I'm using the neck for this exercise.

I shall be replacing the Bridge pickup with a Dimarzio Tone Zone in the near future

amp settings??i can´t see very well!!

I have this amp 50watts model but I can´t achieve this kind of sound!

@nankawan Errr I have the VH100R now and basically use these settings

Presence- Max, treble - 7, Mids - 7, bass - 5, gain MAX, Drive 7.5.

Sounds good. It does not have to be fast but has to be accurate. Speed will come later. Keep it accurate and avoid sloppiness. Good work.

i just found a rg for 550, it has no serial numbers, body is a little beat up, and its road flare red, any in the ball park guess on how much its worth or what year it could be?? i got it for $100
