the quadrotor was developed and built by Noam Meir and Yaron Halle in the control and robotics lab (CRL) of the EE faculty in the Technion, Israel.
in this movie we demonstrate the stability of the inner control loops. the inner control loops are rate loops (loops on p,q,r) designed to improve the dynamic characteristics - adding damping and rejecting disturbances.
as you can see, the quadrotor maintains it's state almost without pilot intervention and inspite of the safety chord pulling it to the side.
