Firmly cementing himself as one our most trusted artists, Soundprank aka Colin Fisher returns with three diverse 4/4 gems to kickstart 2012.
With a bubbling, progressively building groove, "Downshift" slips into a sci-fi influenced breakdown and is full of Colin's renowned sonic complexity.
A quirky track that brings the funk, "This Is A Prank" is all about a richly layered, chunky groove - until a synth-step Nero-esque breakdown blows us away every time.
Last but by no means least, "Cosmos" is a more gentle excursion. A floating, fluttering melodic tech groover, this track goes as deep as its name suggests. "Cosmos" completes an impressively diverse hat trick.

@BeefJerky4104 @BeefJerky4104 prog house and trance are also different in terms of atmosphere and styles of melodies. for instance you often can hear artists from anjunadeep dig into the old type of electronic sound or disco from late 70's or 80's, and put it in a new modern context. this type of sound is pretty usual for prog house nowadays, but you will most likely not hear much of this sound in the prog trance genre.

@Curva10Sud I believe the genre is in fact progressive house which is similar to progressive trance but has a slightly slower beat and deeper bass, at least to my ears. I prefer it over trance actually.
