  • Hmmm, learn Gabriela's part in days .... as if. She is an incredible PERCUSSIONIST!!! Which she also teaches! Doesn't compete with Rodrigo on guitar. Together, they created something new. What you do? People love what she does because we are all MOVED by percussion - and that she does it so creatively - and beautifully, it's amazing. Maybe that dude w/comment below- maybe you could learn her part in days IF you were already a percussionist of some skill AND knew how to play the guitar .

  • She uses her guitar and hand as a bodhrán (a traditional Irish framedrum)with an incredible speed , rythm and skill. But the bodhrán is played with a double headed stick called tipper, and she uses her hand, wow, she's great.... Remember Caroline Corr ? she used to play the bodhrán in some songs, no doubt Gabriela is smart and skillful enough to learn what each country can offer her in terms of music and innovations. Regards from Argentina...

  • Gabriela ROCKS!!! Orgullo Azteca!!! =)

  • Gabriela is just AMAZING on the guitar. I wonder if there is more ways than what have been discovered to make rhythmic guitar.........Gabriela is a VERY inspiring performer and I wish to perform on piano like she does on guitar, VERY AMAZINGLY!! NICE VIDEO!!

  • Gabriela's amazing technique stems in part from the way some traditional Mexican instruments are played, the "jarana" (in various forms and cultures through the Gulf of Mexico States) and the "vihuela", used by mariachis and "arpa grande" groups from inland states. People who play those instruments make their wrists as flexible as Gabriela's. (I'm Mexican and have played the "jarana jarocha".)

  • Best drum solo ever. ; )

  • To debo17453:

No, actually I am not... Strange... isn't ?

  • To palmarjp:

Who cares - can you imagine callouses on Eric Clapton's fingers? Do we really care?

    The music is beautiful.
