When the name "Sizzla Kalonji" is mentioned in Reggae circles, it provokes an extreme response in all those present. Indeed, all who are not present but are familiar with Sizzla's prolific work nonetheless would be equally subject to that said extreme response if they should be present. That is the mark of a truly innovative individual whose name will undoubtedly stand the test of time due to the fact that the responses evoked by Sizzla's name and his music are of no consequence. The sole fact that the responses are extreme is the only issue at hand because that in itself signifies Sizzla's power to affect the reggae loving masses positively or negatively in a very potent way. Even those who are turned off by his message will have to admit that Sizzla is truly a gifted artist at the very least. On the other hand, those who are positively inspired by his music will claim that he is the "King of Reggae."

  • sizzla when he talks about other religions isnt hating on the poeple of the religion but the religion itself i think. religion has been the reason for many wars and voilence none of which had to with rastas in anyway. no other religion promotes peace and equality like rastefari and dat is da truth.

  • sizzlas music is good to me i extract the good but he is hypocritical the way he comes across the words he uses is not love is not peace so will never progress to what he thinks until he comes before the almighty repent an see th error in his way

    godbless ya sizzla

  • @nyr0820 Respect , bouddhist , hindouist , zen , ... didn't they promote peace ? thhrough the art of yoga , there is technics to reach inside peace , meditate , and stop the identification to the ego . in fact i hear so much rasta talk bout meditation , but i wonder what is mediation for them , because meditation is an art , for me rasta is more a philosophy , not a spirituality , beacause there's identification to to much symbols .

  • SIZZLA IS LIKE THE TUPAC OF REGGAE CONSCIOUS

  • Kalonji fever!

  • education is the key

  • What I think sets aside Sizzla from other artists is when other artists speak there focused on "Listen 2 me, like me love me for how tough I sound". As for Sizzla, he comes out with "LIsten to this, hear the message, learn it and live it".

  • to bad he inspire a league of stocky singer.... hate people who contradict themself on interent, talk a bag a chat about conciuos this and that then go rob and destroy innocent people who work forwhat they got not steal and pretend. (Simon Splinta) good thing gtey hide his head.
