Thinking about the people in any locale’s Green Party who’d object to a trading system w/ independent money—they’d almost have to be banking shills because nobody else would be troubled. It would have gained notice around the financial bust of late 1980s, when Canada was bailing out red-inked private banks with Bank of Canada donations paid for w/ MST (and is still being paid for w/ GST). Wish my own country could have seen the similarity 2 decades later.
