@MercuryProTeam - hey now, you know I have sent you a message time again, but I will have to differ from you a little... My Triton TR21 with 225HP Ficht motor pushes my Triton 82MPH GPS. This boat is fast out of the hole and has plenty of raw power... Now, lets step back a little....Why is my boat going 82MPH - I really don't know, but its true. I have issues with starting in cold weather - but other than that no issues - respect not disrespect in my message to you - hope you understand...thx

Evinrude etec H.O will own any other outboard with the same amount of horsepower, but not like in this video. this is just advertising

@repsolka the fuel consumption is fine. When you run any boat at 70 mph you get 1mph per gallon. It does drink the oil but tends to sip the gas if your not always at WOT.

@ChevyMan2195 thats stupid. Wow evinrude you just convinced me your two stroke can beat a four stroke that ways 100 plus pounds more and is known for power not speed. sick.. are they really that far behind merc and yama that they are just getting past 4 strokes?

theres one problem with what someone said, if you put a mercury pro xs against any of those motors the pro xs would smoke them, but the problem is that some said the optimax cant keep up with the evinrude in the video, but that wasnt an optimax, that was a mercury verado which is obviously going to lose agianst a two so maybe evinrude should compare there motors to ther 2 strokes like the pro xs but we all know they wont cause evinrude cant compete with mercury 2 strokes.
