In order to achieve good equitation, riders must have a correct seat and leg position. If the rider is confident and riding in rhythm with the horse, only minor adjustments will need to be made to accomplish this position. This video, made possible by the Louisiana State University Ag Center, discusses the correct seat and leg position for riders.
