S2000 vs. Corvette

This is my AP1 MY02 S2000 vs. my Dad's 1972 Custom Corvette 383. I ended up killing him off the line (2.0 60ft) and running a 11.69 1000ft.

Granted, he did have a higher trap speed. But he did not beat me. My reaction time and 60' were far better than his for him to catch up.

lol i knew as soon as i went down there would be kids arguing about zr1 corvettes and such arguing and swearing about stats never actually haven driven the car. good race must have felt good to beat yourr dad at his own game:) I plan on doing the same in my e30 325is vs his firebird fourmula.

@bighunt08 your a fucking idiot zr1 has a 6.2 ls9 and a z06 has a 7.0..... so what? there is a 150hp difference. and i till this day still have a 94 civic coupe. and is still running 6psi around town at 6psi it smokes srt8 challengers. at full boost im running 20psi. a corvette i might add is an amazing car and is a bang for the buck compared to a lambo and what not. go ahead and type in turbo eg civic vs twin turbo z06.... see who wins.

@zigmaster07..and I know how important power to weight can be in a quarter but a z06 was built to be fast and while it's admirable that somebody is making something (Honda) do something it was never supposed to be able to do I don't see why somebody would want to.. The z06 has been proven capable of giving lambos and ferraris a run for their money so I think it holds it's own and mind you it has a bigger engine than a zr1.. So.. How do you think a turbo Honda will handle a turbo z06?

Hmm does it still run or was this just for a few months when it just happened to run?.. Even so if your claiming that your outrunning something with that kind of power then that Honda must be stripped down to the point were it is just an aluminum bathtub on wheels and is basically a go cart with a 2 liter..
