Led by guard Devon Moore's 17 points, Northland was able to shut down Brookhaven in the second half to seal a much needed victory. Brookhaven over the last 12 seasons has been able to dominate the City League North division, but Friday night those hopes of a 13th crown are in jeopardy. Brookhaven's Chris Johnson fouled out late in the 4th quarter, Johnson had 23 points and 16 rebounds, and he also had numerous blocks. But that wasn't enough as the Vikings with solid defense and another double-double from freshman Jared Sullinger took command of the game in the 3rd period and never looked back. Northland improves to (4-0, 2-0) and will play in the Chillicothe 2006 Ohio Roundball Prep Power Shootout next Saturday at 1pm against Cincinnati Hughes.
