  • This secular Christ hating nation called Israel is still in God's favor? This Israel is still "Israel" of the Bible? Why did you start THAT tradition 100 years ago? YOU DID THE REPLACING!!

  • A partial hardening is on Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles come in, then all Israel will be saved.

  • My friend, reading below the 'back and forth' argument between myself and diligentile, just notice something: I take a 'literal' approach to Biblical interpretation, while diligentile takes a 'Literalist' approach.

Eg.) "It's raining cats and dogs."

Literal approach= It's raining really hard.

Literalist approach= Dogs and cats are falling out of the sky. Please notice the difference as you examine both of our arguments. Thanks for watching.

  • Right... the takeaway from this discussion is that numbers in the Bible don't actually mean what they say according to your private interpretation.

  • @rolysantos Galatians 3:14 in my Bible reads as follows: " That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith".

  • @gater You want to differentiate as though God has 2 people with 2 plans (typical of dispensationalism) But God has ONE house, ONE bride, ONE people, ONE church! This is a made up doctrine. YOU keep referring to 1 Chron 5 but again, WHO IS GOD'S FIRST BORN and HEIR OF ALL THINGS? (Col 1:15/Heb 1:3). The ONLY Israel that will EVER be Israel are "those of faith," GOD's Church! The Earthly/Physical seed/promises were a shadow of the TRUE seed and ultimate promises!

  • @gater Paul made clear to PHYSICAL descendants of Abraham that "Not all who are Israel are Israel" They counted on their bloodline, that they had the law and the covenant of circumcision. Paul destroys all three agruments and says NONE of these counts for anything,For God is able to raise up children of Abraham out of stones (Mat 3:9), The law was only useful to lead us to Christ and only serves to condem (Gal 3:23-25), Circumcision is NOTHING (1 cor 7:19).

  • @gaterYOU are misquoting scripture, v16 specifically says " The PROMISES..." NOT PROMISE! What promises? The ones made in ALL the Genesis verses. Again you refuse to deal with Paul's words! HE and JESUS interpret scripture and tell us who TRUE Israel is! "Those of faith.." NOT A Physical/Earthly people! Again, God is gathering his WHEAT into his barn but YOU want to gather the CHAFF! God was bringing in "ISRAEL" IN PAULS DAY (Rom 11:5) "At the PRESENT time"

  • @rolysantos There is no Scripture , including Galatians 3, that gives the spiritual seed ( the Church ) the right to claim the unconditional ( Gen.15:7-18 ) and everlasting ( Gen.13:15, 17:8, 17:19 ) land promise covenant from the physical seed ( Israel ). We are spiritual seed with spiritual promises. Even those that give the land to the Church have to spiritualize it to mean " Heaven ". The Bible does not allow us to arbitrarily do this, and the promise remains spiritual to the Church.

  • @rolysantos In verse 14 of Galatians 3, we are told what the specific " promise " was that came to the spiritual seed; the " promise of the Spirit through faith ". This is not the same promise that was later made to Abraham in Gen. 12:7, 13:15,17, 15:7,18, 17:8, 19. I will refer you again to the Scripture that was considered a " non-issue; 1 Chronicles 5; 1-2 that clearly shows that the birthright ( land promise ) did not go to the spiritual seed, but remained with the physical seed.

  • @rolysantos The general context of Galatians is faith v/s works for Salvation. In Galatians 3 we. as believers. are called Abraham's children ( vs. 7). We find the promise immediately after this in verse 8 that " in thee shall all nations be blessed ". This is a quote from Gen.12:3 and indeed proves that a blessing ( promise )would come through the " seed " which is Christ, and that being specifically being justified by faith just as Abraham was when one believes on the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • @gateroadmusic REPEAT Biblical theology and sound biblical interpretation NEVER argues that the Church replaces Israel. I don't know any R.T.s. I don't know anyone who says the Church replaces Israel. How can something replace itself?!
