The Typewriter Guy bumps into an unexpected obstacle--then crashes through, in true cartoon-character style. (This clip was pulled from YouTube long ago; thankfully, I was able to save a copy.)

  • who was the animator for the typewriter cartoons??

  • Jeff Hale--who animated and/or directed a LOT of cartoons for Sesame Street in the early to mid-70s.

  • @hoopersghost ok who did Typewriter Guy's voice?

  • @microbusss: None of my sources mention the voice actor, unfortunately.

  • By the way, the name of the guy who voiced him is Andrew Duncan.

  • "W... ::crash:: Whoopsies!"

    Thank you very much for the information! I have since watched that cartoon and seen that you are absolutely right!

  • @Smartboy8877: The "Q for Quiet" cartoon also lacked the Typewriter's "noo na noo" singing; it began with crowd noise which he tried to silence.

    This is the second post in a row on this topic that I have read on this page! I did not notice it at first, but having watched the skit again and taken note, I realize what you guys mean! I wonder if this is the only one like that in this series.

    Would you like to kick around some theories as to why that is?

  • The first time I did not hear that famous noo noo noo noo at the beginning.

  • Am I detecting a lack of noony noony in this one?
