@yaphet08 THANK YOU yaphet08. Why we don't we understand the real enemy, how obvious the Italians divide and conquer and point fingers you are different from them, to this day, eritreans think they are different. I just wish they had that same hate for Italians like they do for their brothers. Another thing, why does history of Eritrea always start in late 1800s, umm wonder why that is!!!!!

Who cares for what othes had to say about our homeland?
Unlike straving Ethiopia, who is always leaking the boots of the Western world & seeking acceptance, approval seal from outsiders, Eritreans could careless of the rest of the world for they believe they are the masters of their own destiny.
FYI, ARBAETE ASMARA is old indiginous village, lending name to the city Asmara.
You don't like it, who gives a hoot?

why we fight each other when the real enemy sitting back and laughing about how he fuck with all of us history and thats the white man(Italians) the real real enemy is them not each other they wanted that so we wont fight against them so we forget the real enemy but time will tell just wait and see..they cant just get away with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to visit Eritrea one day, I was in Addis twice, but never in Eritrea, I come from Somalia

At this time Somalis are fucking Ethio ahiyas :)
EriChicago2007 - Your understanding of Eritrean history is a bit off pal. Menelik didn't give away anything, he had no control over Midri-Bahri. His Kingdom was only Showa.
Ethiopians were butchering one another let alone worry about a kingdom they had no control over. Lastly, Sudan historically is closer to Eritreans than Ethiopia ever was. The highlands and lowlands of Eritrea come from the Beja (HidareB).
we're currently working on an Eritrean historical backed by sources. stay tunned bro.

ASMARA, the mother of my childhood & the ever beautiful shinning morning star of the Red Sea, always remains GLOWING & caring for it's citizens.
ASMARA, I WILL LOVE YOU TO THE DAYS OF MY GRAVE.
I cherish your beauty, hospitality, friendly & inviting open & crime-free neighborhoods, confident citizens & glowing streets.
Asmara, YOU REPRESENT THE BEAUTY & GOODNESS OF MAN KIND!
I wonder if the heavens could be as beautiful, friendly, crime free & peaceful as Asmara. LONG LIVE ASMARA!
