Chip is trained using exclusively Positive Reinforcement and Clicker Training. All training has been done by me, and we love learning together as a team.

Chip is fun, loving, and energetic Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier/ Japanese Chin Mix. I adopted him from a shelter and I love him with all of my heart. We do practically everything together like hiking, bike riding, performing tricks together, doing agility together, swimming, etc. Anything the involves being outside, Chip is up for it! Chip has appeared in the local newspaper and is loved by every member of our family. He's a good dog who loves children, adults, and other animals. I love the way his claws pitter-patter across the hardwood floors in our house. He'll lick me until my face hurts and then after a long day of playing and having fun, he'll snuggle up to me under the covers.

  • I love this!!! =D How did you teach Chip to walk backward around you legs and backwards figure 8? to you have a tutoral?!??! lol Great Job Chip! He`s so smart! =) <3

  • @MosesAgility236 In order to achieve those tricks, your dog would need to have the concept of rear-end awareness. Emily Larlham has a wonderful video on how to teach it. After teaching that, you can move on to the more advanced tricks which require the dog to know rear-end awareness. The tricks shown in this video can be found as tutorials if you search for them. =o
