Thanks for posting. Although IPPB is seemingly nearly completely phased out it is still heavily on the boards and heavily taught for that reason. However, with complex instruments like this just reading about it doesn't really help at all. In 4 clinical rotations I only saw the Bird Mark 7 at one hospital (all large to very large facilites) and it wasn't actually in use when I saw it. It was like "I, Robot/A.I." or "9" (lol) a bunch of sad, unused IPPB's shoved into the back of the supply room.
