How could James' voice have changed so much in just 4 years? Does he smoke cigarettes or something? This is from 2002 and his voice is different in the first episode of Psych.

@MelyssaAKASkittlez I'm not sure if his voice is really different here, or it just sounded like this because...I don't know - maybe because he has kinda more quiet voice - is that make sense? :)

@riktal78 His voice is SLIGHTLY higher-pitched.Trust me,I notice and pick out different sounds and subtle differences in noises the way Shawn is with visual details,lol. It comes with the territory of being on the autism spectrum.I pick out instrumentals and pitch changes in vocals in songs that my friends just can't hear. It's not a big difference, but his voice is slightly different.I would just credit it to youth.Wear and tear on the vocal cords over the years does change its pitch.

@MelyssaAKASkittlez mayhaps it's because he's a trained actor, so he can do different voices or digital editing. he sounds so much different in interviews.
