As thousands of political leaders and environmental scientists gather at the climate change summit this week, we ask - is Denmark the shining green example it seems to be?
Denmark is the world leader in wind technology, with a third of the wind turbine industry worth tens of billions of dollars. Because the energy in the wind is higher on sea than on land, you can get more energy out of the wind. Says power engineer Katrine. Whether the rest of the world will adopt Denmark's policies remains to be seen, but the green arm-wrestling which will take place here this week, will surely affect the future of us all.

What the HELL? Why is everyone engaging in this stupid dick measuring contest? I've got some bad news: the "greatest country in the world" doesn't EXIST. Everyone has different ways they believe that the world should work, and different places cater to different preferences.

Denmark offers one kind of political/economic system and a unique culture, the USA another. Arguing over which one is "better" is a waste of fucking time. What you SHOULD be talking about is how we can cooperate.
