Master with the thorn in his side (Doctor Who fanvid)

*spoilers for Doctor Who season 3/29 finale: Utopia/Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords*

I could say this vid is about Doctor comprehending Master's distress and insanity, or that I got inspired by the way the Doctor interacted with Master at the very end, or even by the fact that Master got shot with a bullet to the stomach (thorn? in his side? martyrdom, anyone?). But that would be slightly over-interpreting. I mostly just wanted to do a vid about Master/Doctor and include the Blackpool clips ;)

It's from BBC mini-series Blackpool, with David Morrisey, Sarah Parish and of course Tennant. It's absolutely brilliant - it's them that made Tennant sing The Smiths, not me :)

I've just stumbled across a few videos of Blackpool for the 1st time, before this one. This is a good blend of clips with Doctor Who.

Great vid. It works really well.

I've always been facinated by the links between Blackpool and Doctor Who.

First of all David Tennant, then Sarah Parish played the Empress of the Racnoss, Bryan Dick played Adam in Torchwood and David Morrisey was in the Next Doctor.

David Bradley played along side David Tennant in Harry Potter.

And Sarah played along side Billie Piper in ShakespeaRe-told.
