As I remember it, Lasse Gjertsen's account was suspended back in 2008 and the suicide video taken down, but the suspension was later repealed, and Lasse was allowed to reupload the video as long as it was made clear that it was not showing a real suicide.
This video was uploaded right after Lasse's suspension, and so at the time the situation was different than it is now, you should take that into account. It actually looks like Feridino may not have even used the account since this time.

Yeah, I mean it's their site, they own the storage, the site, the bandwidth. It might not seem fair, but if they want to pick and choose who is allowed to post, that's their prerogative.

although I also think Lasse Gjertsen is a genious, youtube isn't abusing their power... If anything, they just don't want mothers complaining about their children watching a guy commit suicide

I don't have the words to say how disappointed I am in YT right now. The day Google bought YT was basically the death of the idea behind YT.

I couldn't agree more. When Youtube was bought by google they restricted everything and took away some terms of "free speech" if you will.
