  • Yep, left the country quite a few times, no I do not go to Africa or Europe.

You know, if you like those places so much you could stay there...

People are going bankrupt due to quite a few things, making taxes go up on EVERYONE with a policy as well as employers is not going to solve that. If you don't grasp that, I highly doubt you have family members that are doctors...

If your dad is a doc, ask him why it costs so much for him to practice...

Once again, go get em tiger! CHARGE!

  • You guys are all selfish.

And hey, if you are so against your government running, organizing and regulating things you shouldn't be in a democracy, really.

  • takes go up so we can afford tax cuts for the rich and endless wars. we stop those healthcare is a drop in the bucket compaired to that. He also isn't doing a goverment takeover but creating regulation which is a joke. The only regulation is nin the media to make him look like a comunnist and drive the political spectrum further to the right.

  • @4gl2u indeed a republic is classified under democracy as voting is involved, i was trying to address the point that many people simply refer to it as a democracy while trying to be specific when that is incorrect

  • @Rowaman Every country has healthcare, including the US. What you mean to say is that every other western country has subsidized healthcare, which translates to you being granted the privilege to pay more for a poorer service. The only thing the United States is behind on is a race to the unemployment line, and the fastest way they're going to catch up is by imitating social democracies like Greece.

  • @gravebaiting If a republic wasn't democratic, then it wouldn't be a republic. A republic is a modern form of indirect democracy in that we vote for people to represent us rather than voting on the issues directly, but while it's not direct democracy it is still classified under the umbrella term democracy.

  • @Jethro212 My brother is becoming a dentist instead of practicing medicine, because it cost so much for mal practices.

  • @mssnrykd There will always be people who can't find any work or work that pays enough to support a family. Starting a business has an extremely high rate of failure, and there aren't enough consumers for every unemployed person to start his own successful business.

Society should supply a basic standard of living to the people who inevitably fall between the cracks. Using your logic, millions of people spontaneously become lazy in a recession. Some things in life are beyond your control.

  • @BenkaiDebussy "There are more people eligible to work than there are jobs. And most of these jobs don't pay enough (minimum wage) to live on, particularly in urban areas or if you have a family to support or student/medical debt."

So move. Or start your own business. Grass grows. Most people will pay to have it cut, or weed. Underground businesses take very little start up cash. Also, multiple jobs at minimum wage help a lot.

  • If you get sick and then have to also battle your health insurance company to cover your bills, you may suddenly change your opinion. That is, if you ever change your opinion, which I doubt.

  • Sorry, this was the one video I had to rate one star, because you didn't make any cogent argument. The length of a health care bill is irrelevant to whether or not it constitutes a takeover of the entire industry. The content of it is what's important.

  • I don't live in a democracy, I live in a Republic, and if I wanted the government to organize and control things then I would live in a People's Republic. I am selfish? I know everyone has to get covered but the way congress is trying to do it isn't right
