Whip Ass Gaming: Virtua Racing Deluxe Attract Mode

Future titles like the Daytona USA, Super GT/SCUD Race, and Sega Rally Championship wouldn't have been possible had it not been for this game. I never played it enough to truly appreciate it, but I've given great respect for this game. This is a great collection of Attract demos for this game. Well done job posting these attracts into one video.

Glad you enjoyed it. You really should try it on some form of emulation, if you can't manage to get the hardware to run it on either the Genesis or 32X. It's really good, and well worth quite a bit of your time.

I remember this at the arcade being one of the 1st games with full 3d enviroments, at that time it was quite intimidating.....

I'm uncertain as to whether I'm obligated to talking about emulation, but I did manage to find Virtua Racing Deluxe using the Fusion emulator. The Formula is the most balanced, the Stock loves to fishtail, and the prototype, and the prototype is quite fast... though I can't give a clear difference between the Formula and the Prototype. The in-car views were also amazing. This was a great job by Sega to make this almost arcade-perfect.

DAMN i still luv it!!! i think dis is the best arcade racer ever, then daytona usa and maybe sega rally... hmmm never played scud race... its so damn rare...

A fantastical game. I got gold on bay bridge on medium: Rank 1st(pretty hard to do that I thought), Much better controls then on the genesis and especially saturns version... I was disapointed with the draw distance and thought it could have been closer to the high rez arcade graphics. It still looks solid though and is a timeless classic that can never really look bad.. it is what it is hence the name virtua racing.
