Just a test upload to see how my new TV card is working right, and messing around with the quality settings so that way they still look good on youtube.
Played on my Wii. Used the Space Time Beam to keep all my gear.

@Iwannaplayssbb Pretty sure the natural progression of the game goes High Jump Boots > Varia Suit > Speed Booster > Ice Beam > Power Bombs > Grapple Beam. In order to reach this area, he needed to get the Power Bombs, which he could only obtain the first set of(sans sequence breaking) with the Ice Beam.

WITH sequence breaking, however, it's exceedingly easy to get the Wave Beam before the Ice Beam. All you need to do is wall-jump up there from the spikes. Actually easier.
