نہ کہیں جہاں میں اماں ملی، جو اماں ملی تو کہاں ملی
مرے جرم خانہ خراب کو ترے عفو بندہ نواز میں

نہ وہ عشق میں رہیں گرمیاں، نہ وہ حسن میں رہیں شوخیاں
نہ وہ غزنوی میں تڑپ رہی، نہ وہ خم ہے زلف ایاز میں

Dear this is Hamdiya verse,Calling directly to Allah

Imam is a reality and He ll come to world but Iqbal's desire is to prostrate in such way that that Ultimate Reality may come in virtual form.

About Imam probably iqbal has mentioned other places like

"Qareeb tar hai Namood jis ki usi ka mushtaq hai zamana

but here u cant take these meanings

&one more thing,in Quran there not even a single verse that mentions the coming of Mehdi..its only in Hadith.plz if u can find a single verse,let me know

I have read........this Verse many times in holy Quran.Its in 20 th parah and is number 62.........if u have Shiya translated Quran...with description on it then u will understand.this verse tell us that he will came and will stand by holy Kaaba and will say 2 devotional prayers there.......to seek Allah's help.
