There is bombshell in the commissioner controversy: after weeks of denying she, or anyone from her office, pressured former Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan to fire state trooper Michael Wooten, Wednesday, Governor Sarah Palin had to backtrack.

Palin's family was reprimanded by the judge in her sister's divorce case for harrassing Wooten. Look it up. That was 3 years before she was elected as governor. Imagine being a trooper and finding out that your ex-in laws are calling your commanders once a month for 2 years, trying to get you fired.

Teaching your kids responsibility and about contraception/AIDs prevention is not telling them to go out and have sex. It is arming them with information that may save their lives. If you think they aren't already aware of sex - you're kidding yourself. BTW - contraception would prevent unwanted pregnancies and the tragedy of abortion. You'd think anti-abortion people would be pro-contraception = but sadly, no.
