Should Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Head of Civil Service Francis Muthaura quit following the confirmation of their charges? That continues to be the most asked question, just two days after the International Criminal Court released it's verdict. Pressure is mounting on president Mwai Kibaki to live up to his promise made a year ago, that he would let them go after their charges had been confirmed. And as Sheila Sendeyo reports, these two public positions are the pillars that in effect hold together the Kibaki administration, explaining why the president is apparently still not keen to listen to the growing number of discontent voices.

  • Haha,Kenya Inc,a corporation registered in the mafioso Sicilian islands,it has wacky accounting principles and half the board of directors is "wanted"

  • Amos Wako was a hand puppet. But this new AG is a marionette; he can be made to do break-dance, ndombolo, lipala, river dance, merengue....whatsoever his master wishes! Good luck Kenya! We keep putting out "leaders" who cannot lead, have no backbone and cannot present their own opinions. They are all followers and lackies! They do not make their fellow legislators accountable for their actions and neither does the electorate. "Failed State" does not do the description of Kenya any justice!

  • Kenya seems to be living in a world it can not catch up with.We sign things without a second thought only to start complaining later. Please read carefully before you put your signature.I wonder how many of shady deals our govt officials sign without any regards? You walked right into the den.It all started with a sealed envelope which big fishes thought it was a joke.

  • The tares are permitted to grow among the wheat, to have all the advantage of sun and shower, if you are the wheat show them love. When Jesus comes will judge every man according to his words and his works. Like now the comments made in You tube are clearly chronicled in heaven. Wait for your time.

  • @Utadowot Right on the $Ksh. Everyone must bear their own cross. Then again, this is Kenya, the most expendable person, folitician etc fries the most
