  • XD i didn't know the moves i figured out even had names!

i just looked up poi and found this. now i just show it to my friends who im teaching, they understand this better.

  • @aniki91344 I hate to say it but... the way one does a weave with opposite spinning poi is... with practice. It might feel clunky and there may be some tangles at first, but it works.

  • @commandoe1 I don't beleive so. From what I understand "atomic" moves are just those in which the poi are at 90 degree angles to eachother instead of parallel. You can also do an atomic weave where one poi is vertical and one is horizontal.

I always call an opposite direction weave a "Split Time TTN weave", but there are so many names for different moves, the name isn't that important.

  • Nice pants bro

  • My brain is having a hard time comprehending this... how does one do a weave with opposite spinning poi?

  • does a 3-beat weave with one hand spinning forward and another spinning backward make an atomic weave ?

  • are there different atomic weaves?

  • If I did get it, this move is pretty easy. Compared to other atomic weaves at least.

  • You really do make the best tutorials. Multiple camera angles, slow motion, after affects, excellent editing, and a thorough explanation from someone who is experienced and articulate. Thanks so much for all the great posts.

  • I've been doing something similar just from getting bored and mixing planes together, though it's not this advanced. Thanks Nik :-D
