  • oh and for the brother or sister who recently commented. I accidentally deleted your comment when I meant to respond to it. So sorry about that!

  • from a black man: u are so right. tv has had a big part in the problem. i've not owned on in eight years. people need to turn it off.

  • @GQbum 8 years. Kudos to you! Thanks for stopping by

  • Ashe, sister. Brothers and sisters need each other! Why else would we call each other "brother and sister"? The white man has taught us this individualistic mentality in order to tear apart our families, which will in turn, continue to tear apart our culture. When women learn that "learning our place" is not a negative, we will begin to move forward.

  • @art12mind12 Indeed. Amin. Thank you for your comment

  • i'm happy to hear this, the part about being equally yoked is the truth. the sexes have their different roles, yes. but one could never survive without the other. different, but equally important. a man may not be able to house a life in his body or feed it from his body, but a woman couldn't provide the physical protection from danger that a man can. all the great tribes understood this precious balance between the sexes. television, in my opinion has taught us to rebel against one another.

  • @moccothelocco You are absolutely right. We need to get back to basics and turn off the dayum TV!!!

  • i don't agree entirely. I have a black woman. A "strong black woman" and I ENCOURAGE her to speak her mind! but guess what she can come to and speak her mind and still speak respectivly!! and visa versa! i've dated white women too and that submissive shit is wack. a black woman can be strong and articulate and STILL respect and support her black man.

  • "You can both be leaders, but you can be leaders in different ways". That is a very enlightening statement that many men and women should accept, from all states of the human condition.

Power, control, responsibility, none of these should be completely in the hands of one person, nor should one person seak to dominate the other to obtain any of these things. If a man forgets his place he should be no more or less reminded than a woman
