  • @KillerSalmon

I agree didn't show much JKD in there.

  • I think you're a bit fixated on the term JKD. 'JKD' as used in this title of this video doesn't refer to finger jabs, straight blast, etc.

  • I just done a 3-day course in ISR Matrix's Physical Management and believe me this shit is for real. For all you fellow grapplers, take my word for it... you will love this system.

  • Yeah I know what ya mean, when you say droppin' I think about the kicks the groin, full on finger to the eye and kicks to the head and all that in Jkd, law enforcement don't use Jkd anyway do they? =/

  • Jkd cannot be used for law enforcement, it's just a delusional mass state. Why do cops carry mace and a gun? Why does it usually take 4cops to arrest a 16yr old skater boy?

JKD is for dropping people not restraining them, if you can restrain a violent mother funker then good luck to you, I've always had to smack funk out of em in my experiences.

Everything is JKD nowadays, thanks for everything Dan.

  • Tremendous.

I especially love the guard to pistol draw. I've been advocating this for years.

  • It looks good, but in order to get most locks on you have to strike first or the lock will not work. You have to be very strong to ge a lock on a avg. man, let alone someone who is bigger or stronger and I am not sure about throws it is very hard to get a decent throw on the streets.

  • This short clip is the best on youtube for Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics training by far!

Every other "scientific" DT course looks either like "staged" karate with bad tackles or a re-hash of chi flow drills that the traditional chinese MA guys were doing to catch up with the JKD concept guys ten years ago.
