@zakisbomb55 Well reggae started way back in the 1950's with steal drums....
Then went on to using skin'ed drums in the 60's were it made its name for itself.
Reggae envoked many diferent sub-cultures of music, dancehall being one of witch.
Dancehal was the 1st official music labled by any producer as "dance" music.
This sparked many diferent sub-cultures of dance, throughout the 80's and 90's... all forms of dance music with with a "phat" basline, are only in existance due to reggae ;)
