History of the Art - Fushigi

Here is a brief history of the art form now being called Fushigi and some people that have done it under this and other names. Know your history and you will go far someone once told me. Oh and I guess it is a rather self serving history since I mention myself about 8 times, heheheh.

Fushigi(tm), Sphereplay(tm), Contact Juggling, Dynamic Object Manipulation, and of course Juggling.

James Ernest coined the term Contact Juggling in his book titled 'Contact Juggling'

@chesstaipan Funny you ask about LA because I am moving to LA. Right now I am in PA but when I get back next month it will be LALALALA. I am planning on being at Burning Man as well. I am excited to get together and do some of 'it' that we do. I am off to watch your video it looks cool.

Funny you should say that because I have heard similar arguments since I started. Contact Juggling is dumb why not Dynamic Object Manipulation. Sphereplay is dumb why not Contact Juggling. Now Fushigi is dumb why not Sphereplay or Contact Juggling.

I have never been a fan of the language behind it. I have always been a fan of "it". I think the more people doing it the better!! No matter what you call it . As long as you don't stop me from doing it you can all it "The Bob" for all I care.
