I installed an HDTV antenna on my new HDTV and found that the reception was bad in my TV room. I moved the antenna around to different locations using a long cable, and found that I get great reception with the antenna in my attic. If the attic didn't work, I would have put the antenna on my roof. The position of the antenna is more important than the quality of the anteanna, though I did buy a good Long Range HTDV Antenna, the Clearstream 2 indoor/outdoor antenna, made by Antennas Direct. My television reception is much better now that I have the antenna positioned in the attic. I bought an antenna which doesn't require any electricity, so I wouldn't have to run power up into the attic. Now I can watch all of the major network broadcasts in HD for free. It's really good for sports. Go Lakers!

  • Have you considered that the RF signal coming from your equipment is interfering with the HD reception of the antenna (as in) feed back

  • @JohnSAitken It's possible. I put it up on the roof, and it works great now. It worked well in the attic too.

  • I've found it's best to mount it high up on the wall not on top on the tv. you get better reception that way.

  • @whiskeyify Mounting the antenna higher usually helps. I ended up putting mine on the roof and running a cable down to the TV. It works great.

  • YouTube is pretty strict about copyright violations. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • @bm5447 Awesome! You'll be amazed at how many channels you get, and all the network broadcasts are in HD, so they look great.

  • @darriandeloach I just bought a clearstream 4 which is double the size than the one in the video for around $90 on amazon that includes shipping. I have not mounted it yet but can't wait to cut the cable bill to $0/ month! These cable companies really think they have everyone by the balls but not me!

  • He probably works for there company

  • @hoohoohoblin If I only had your brain..
