"Hot Lips" Grady Martin & his Slewfoot 5
A tribute to Grady Martin one of the most unknown and underated guitarists ever, yet one of the most influential. A productive member of the Nasville A-team until the late '70s he played with all the greats, Elvis, Hank Williams, Roy Orbison, Buddy Holly ect. He was one of the first people to be personally presented with a unique double-neck Bigsby by Paul Bigsby himself. He also had a band called the 'The Winging Strings' who recorded for Decca and featured Hank Garland, Bob Moore Tommy Jackson and Bud Isaacs. Not to mention his most prolific role - playing on and producing all the great rockabilly that came out of Nashville during '50s!

The real star is Dutch McMillin, who has DISAPPEARED from the net. He was OBVIOUSLY the inspiration for Boots, and his choruses on the SL5 tunes are INSPIRED.

@JolleyRick Can't argue with you there, without don't doubt Dutch McMillin's sax on all the rockabilly/country/rock n roll stuff he recorded is ace and shud be a big influence on all sax players of these genres
