Giant Robot plays Computer Master live at the Wetlands, New York on April 30th 1997.

REMASTERED AUDIO- This video will have better sound quality than the other versions on youtube because I synched the soundboard audio with the video's audio.

  • I wish I knew who sped this film up...ALL Wetlands footage has been sped up slightly...

  • @TaxideaTaxis yup I noticed this too... wasn't me, it was probably a byproduct of the conversion from VHS to digital

  • Whyd he change his picking style to reverse angle picking? At least that looks like what hes doing, its definitely different from what he does nowadays.

  • @partlyshady what do you mean by "reverse angle picking"

  • @jedisjumphigh2 See how he holds the pick at a 45 deg. angle with his wrist cocked back and his thumb rigid starting around 0:23? Ive never seen him play like that before. Everytime he goes to shred in this video he does that.. Im thinking that maybe he started to get hand/finger problems from playing like he usually does and changed up his technique for a while.. just a guess

  • @partlyshady yup. Holding your pick at that angle is ideal, even when not shredding... not sure why he changed

  • He holds his pick lyk Shawn Lane in this video...perhaps he picked it up from him.

  • @jconasesameseedbun I mean everyone has their own opinion which is cool but Hendrix couldn't do half of what Bucket could do on a guitar, he had neither the speed nor technical ability, and Bucket can play wish just as much feeling when he chooses to.

  • @jconasesameseedbun Keep lying to yourself

  • @19845150o yup...his pinky is probably longer than my index.

  • @partlyshady shawn lane used the same technique, guess he picked it up when he got lessons from him. He may have changed when he started learning with pebber brown.

  • @jedisjumphigh2 Paul Gilbert, thats why

  • i still think jimi hendrix is a better guitar player

  • @jedisjumphigh2 D --> That is interesting, but I think he did it to get a sharper note per pick. Notice that it sounds scratchy when he shreds (video quality aside).
