When NAFTA was passed on Oct 26th 1993 by Bill Clinton, there had to be a way to make the populous willing to watch our manufacturing relocate at a rate that no one can really fathom. But to be fair to hedges on the first one, he uses the word "liberal" in a manner different than how it is used today. he uses it in the older 19th/early 20th century sense.
