"The Voice" - My Violin Solo - Spring Concert 2009

When I heard that we were doing this song in choir, I was extremely excited!!! I always wanted to sing a Celtic Woman song in choir and now finally I had the chance!!!
So, I already knew part of the violin solo by Máiréad Nesbitt because I loved Celtic Woman music so much, and then I just learned the rest by ear and by using the sheet music. I practiced over and over and over until it just became second nature and I could play it flawlessly without even thinking about it. I met with my choir teacher Miss.Gabriel and orchestra teacher Miss.Kondenar and they helped me improve it and get it to play fluidly with the piano part.
I wanted to say thanks to all of my friends for supporting me, for all the nice comments, high fives, clapping, and cheering for me in choir and at the concert. Thanks to my teachers for all of their dedication and love of music that inspired me and helped me to play this song at the concert. Thank you so much to my parents, brother, and grandparents, who's support and love made me want to really impress them on concert night. Thanks for the awesome carnations after the concert, too. Thanks to everyone in the audience at the School Assembly, for all of the people that burst into applause when they said my name for the solo, and for all of the people who came to the Spring Concert. This was one of the greatest experiences of my entire life, and I hope you feel the same inspiration, exhilaration, and sheer happiness that I felt as I played my heart out in front of everyone. I will never forget it!!! :)

pretty good but. BIGGER BOW STROKES. even in fiddle music bigger movements in the bow helps the sound. ;)
