@ltootsie421 Lynn Anderson's not stopped singing. She's only 63 years old. Just saw her at CMA Fest this year, on two different stages.... sounds better than ever.  Also, go to her website and you'll see she's touring all over the country.

I agree absolutely. I like a lot of his material from the 1940s and 50s as well, but he did something remarkable in reviving his career when he was pushing 50, and achieved a kind of artistry that was different from what he had done before. I think some of his best material dates from the mid to late 60s. But actually, I enjoy listening to anything he ever recorded. He was a class act, a true gentleman. Part of an era long gone now. That's sad, isn't it?

Absolutely wonderful singers with great songs. Brings back sweet memories of past generations whose songs give so much depth to the hearts and souls of mankind. Wish people would spend time singing or composing songs and making music than shooting senselessly around the world
