Dr. Carol Strong (UAH) has a rule that if a student's cell phone rings in class, they must sing a song in front of the entire class. This would typically be some depressingly trite tune like "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" or "Happy Birthday".
We, the Acoustamaniacs thought it would be amusing to write a song about Physics (and Dr. Strong), then have a phone go off in class, allowing us to play a mini rock show in class. After planning do pull this little "prank" all semester, it was the last day of class before we got around to it.
As you can tell from the thunderous applause, eruptions of hilarity, and the hugs from Dr. Strong herself... it went over quite well. Enjoy!
BTW, notice that the ringtone of the culprit cellphone is none other than the "Dr. Strong" song itself!
I have this class right now. Was warned of this, so I came straight to YouTube.
Challenge Accepted.
