since you got this cover does it manuallly open too or no? I want to get this to protect my nav head unit, its a smart idea if thieves cant open the door of it... then they would have to smash it and waste more time and risk damaging the headunit itself... then before they realize it they will be spending time in the cell getting raped by a gay named paulie

the dual slot navi systems have an ATT function on the volume knob that goes off every time you manually close or open the lid because it presses into the button, which is really annoying. though i think this is a bit much to resolve a problem that can be solved by just pressing the volume button again

was it a train horn or the cap opening sound. it looks nice when its closed but it makes very bad noise when opening and closing. doesn't look good after open either, so i dont like it. just my opinion.

I am wanting to get that installed on my scion, but i might get an indash video player. I wonder when you turn the car off, if the cover would close on the screen. Or if there was a way you could but a delay on it. and the motor on that kinda makes an annoying sound.
