Tim This was a great video because of the people and the train! The song is perfect for this kind of time passing away isnt it.. Perhaps one day you could do a video with that clawhammer playing on a old train or old flat box car.. Keep the traditional songs alive.. You are carrying a big torch that must not go out.. Remember that.

I keep coming back, listening to this song...Sir, your voice is amazing and so is your banjo playing and all the wonderful spots you pick to play and sing!

I find the settings for Tim eriksen's live performances especially striking e.g. platying outside in freezing temperatures. For me that says a great deal about the quality of the music.

Certain verses of the song are the same as "I'm Going Home" that are often sung by Sacred Harp singers! Cool stuff man.

@batfancy Clarence Tom Ashley called g sus 4 or gDGCD sawmill tuning . . This is wonderful Tim .. Stop by if you are ever in Bantam , Yours Guy

You are a damn good amasador of the US. IF there were more people like you out there playin for the world the US might not look like a bunch of Assholes. Very fine playin. Is that what Clarence Ashley would call "Sawmill" tune?

That's amazing...fasola on the banjo. I'm a banjo player and fasola singer, how do you do it?

Well, if you can sing it I'm sure you can play it. You just need a good keynote.
