Neil Young Ohio Lyrics, do not own any part of video but did make it
Ten soldiers and Nixons comin, were finally all alone. This summer I hear the drummin, 4 dead in Ohio.

Gotta get down to it, Soldiers are cutting us down, should have been done long ago. What if you knew her and found her dead on the the ground, How can you run when you know.

Gotta get down to it, Soldiers are cutting us down, should have been done long ago. What if you knew her and found her dead on the the ground, How can you run when you know.

Ten soldiers and Nixons comin, were finally all alone. This summer I hear the drummin, 4 dead in Ohio.
4 dead in Ohio 4 dead in Ohio

  • you have the lyrics wrong. It's Tin Soldiers....not ten (10) soldiers

  • The Peace movement of the 1960's & 1970's taught the War-profiteers to avoid the draft. Now in the 21st century it's easy to keep the Wars going longer and make more profits.

  • The sad part is this: Cambodia was the stockpile of weapons and the vietcong army, as soon as we went in, victory was assured. However, undercover leftists brainwashed our youth into thinking a victory over communism would be a bad thing. After the Kent State Tragedy, President Nixon felt so bad about the whole thing that he pulled out completely, the people of Cambodia and Vietnam remain enslaved to this very day.

  • Only a degenerate piece of shit would fire on unarmed students.

  • The opening riff to this song echoes throughout the twentieth century

Our children will forever know this song, as our fathers planned before us

    Long live Neil Young

    Long Live Ohio...

  • @suzieq0452 yeah, he went for a little stroll in the woods and thought up the lyrics. Neil surly is one of the greatest :)

  • This was released on the Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young album So Far.

  • Crosby said that Niel wrote this Song in 1/2 hr after he was told of the Shooting. Amazing

  • Dont stone me... but I prefer this version

  • I'mlearning about the Kent State Shooting in history class. I have a cool teacher who showed us this song because thats what this song is based on to began with.

  • ohio oniichan!

  • @MyRepresentativeOrg Not if we refuse to allow it. Join an Occupy group.and get involved in non-violent protest. My generation stopped a war and got the govt to give civil rights to all. All we did was sit-in, lie down, refuse to move, march to end a war. Come together.
