Lame Rowell rodeo abuses animals

This was taken at the sad and pathetic 2009 junior rodeo at Rowell Ranch, California, where children are taught that it's ok to abuse animals for cheap "entertainment". It was mostly waiting, with a few brief seconds e very now and then of some cowboy wannabe riding on a bull or trying to rope a calf. None of the animals had much say in whether they wanted to be there on not, but there were almost no spectators except for the families of the contestants.
I can now plainly see that this is just a weekend hobby for these people, who seem to like to show off in front of people, regardless of what it does to their fellow animals. If they want to demonstrate their roping skills they could simply do that with inanimale objexts, but I suppose then think roping a live animal is more exciting. Personally, i was rooting for the calves.
And the only reason the bulls were bucking could clearly be seen. Each one had a buckstrap tied tighlly around his groin, and even after the riders had fallen off and were scurrying away, the bulls continued to kick and buck, trying to get the painful straps off. Anyone with eyes could see it.
Please don't support this stupid and abusive pastime. Rodeos are as outdated and lame as the old west itself.

And to literally add insult to injury, I as bullied and threatened by a rodeo thug right after taping this. He walked right up next to me and started using obscene langueage and calling me vulgar things I can't even say here, and repeatedly threatened me if I didn't leave immmediately. All just for filming this few minutes of action! This is what today's rodeos have turned into, a bunch of thugs bullying outsiders who dare to show their faces at rodeos...

I see nothing wrong with rodeo it is our heritage and animal athletes can get hurt during competition but are not intentional hurt or mistreated. If you want to spend your time tearing down someones heritage it should be the mu slums who mutalate there womens vagina!

@codyj103 : Yeah, it takes a real man to lasso a baby cow and jerk its neck backwards while it's running away from you.

I've seen the damage buckstraps do on beautiful horses (bloody raw welts on tender skin) so don't bother spouting your lame excuses here.

Ok maybe all cowboys aren't thugs, but the people in charge of rodeos (the rodeo mafia) sure are.

I admit I wasn't able to catch obvious abuse on camera while I was there, but I know others who came earlier saw some; thus the title of this vid. As for being a "bored loser", I went to this rodeo on my own, alone, to help the animals, and got harassed for it by a rodeo thug. It was a little scary and not at all boring. I don't think anyone who stands up for what he believes in, and actually goes out and does something about it, is a loser. So what have YOU ever done for the less fortunate?
